🎇 We had the privilege of hosting a guided tour at the Food Technology Plant (SPTA) of the Faculty of Veterinary at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Professors, researchers, and students from UAB, Sapienza Università di Roma, INTI , and INTA joined us with great enthusiasm.
🌪This visit was a fantastic opportunity for knowledge transfer on best practices in the circular economy and showcased UAB’s pioneering activities in the analysis of innovative dairy products. 🥛🔬
Key highlights included:
✅️ Sustainable Food Production: Research activities crucial for transforming food production towards more sustainable practices.
✅️ Protected Designation of Origin (PDO): In-depth discussions on PDO issues related to on-site dairy products, exploring commercialization potential and challenges at both national and European levels.
